With their new disc ‘Lightning Bolt’ due out tomorrow (Oct. 15), NBC’s ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’ will celebrate Pearl Jam next week (Oct. 21-25) with various musical guests digging into the extensive Pearl Jam catalog and performing songs in honor of the band. In addition, the week will culminate with Pearl Jam performing back-to-back nights on the show.

Each night, artists of various genres will pay homage to the trailblazing rockers with their own renditions of Pearl Jam songs. Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell will get the party started on Monday, Oct. 21. Cornell will join forces with the Avett Brothers to play ‘Footsteps,' a song that originated as the tunes ‘Times of Trouble' that appeared on the 1991 self-titled Temple of the Dog disc. Keeping with the theme, Temple of the Dog featured Cornell along with various members of the current lineup of Pearl Jam including Eddie Vedder, Mike McReady and Matt Cameron.

On Oct. 22, Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold will perform the Pearl Jam song ‘Corduroy’ from 1994’s ‘Vitalogy.’ The performance promises some special guests providing backup support as well.

On Oct. 23, country artist Dierks Bentley will collaborate with The Roots and Pearl Jam’s own McCready for what is simply being billed as a “one-of-a-kind performance.”

Closing things out in fitting fashion, Pearl Jam will perform a double-header on both Thursday, Oct. 24, and Friday, Oct. 25, marking the band’s only scheduled television appearances to promote the new disc.

Don't forget to tune in next week to catch out these special performances and until then fans can feast on 'Lightning Bolt' starting tomorrow!
