It's a teutonic throwdown! This one is going to be a serious toss up for thrash fans as two of the genre's biggest names and their respective mascots look to make it to Round 2. Violent Mind and Knarrenheinz are battling to the death for your votes!

Kreator's Violent Mind's first big appearance was on the band's 1990 album Coma of Souls. Since then he has appeared on three more album covers, Violent RevolutionEnemy of God, and Hordes of Chaos. Despite his limited appearances, the face is iconic of the band's mentality. Violent Mind, like many mascots, is not the centerpiece, but is still synonymous with the band.

Sodom's brand of thrash often deals with warfare, so what's better than a mascot who is always ready for war? Forever obscured with a gas mask over his face, Knarrenheinz assaults the visual senses and walks the walk while Sodom take care of the aural ones and talk the talk. The two work together in perfect disharmony bringing destruction everywhere they travel.

Violent Mind or Knarrenheinz? Cast your vote in the poll below!

Voting for this round ends on Monday, Mar. 23 at 8AM ET. Fans can vote once per hour, so keep coming back to make sure that your favorite metal mascot wins!
