Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain in Guitar Hero 5

The Guitar Hero games have become modern classics, with its signature guitar controller having found a place in every college dorm throughout the U.S. Now that six installments of the Guitar Hero series have been released, the franchise has created various playable characters in the likeness of rock legends, perhaps none more spellbinding than Nirvana's Kurt Cobain.

The eerily lifelike vision of Cobain, in his Daniel Johnston shirt, no less, appears in Guitar Hero 5. Players can unlock Cobain after completing the iconic track 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' in Career Mode. Other legends featured in the Guitar Hero series include Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk Wylde, Billy Corgan and many more.
