Megadeth's run through the Classic Cage Match circuit continues. In the most recent contest, the band's 1990 single 'Holy Wars … the Punishment Due' bested Judas Priest's 'Painkiller' from the same year. Now, Megadeth try for their fifth and final victory and entrance into the Classic Cage Match Hall of Fame.

For the newest battle, we jump ahead two years and send Megadeth's 'Symphony of Destruction' from their 1992 disc 'Countdown to Extinction' into the Classic Cage Match. Dave Mustaine's attitude-filled lyrics and forceful guitar licks and killer solo set the tone for this classic track, and with just the mention of 'Symphony of Destruction,' you're already reciting "Just like the pied piper …" in your head.

Their opponent will be Dream Theater and their biggest single, 'Pull Me Under.' This classic from the 1992 standout 'Images and Words' album showcases James LaBrie's vocal range, prominent drumming from Mike Portnoy and steadily building tension via chugging guitar work from John Petrucci. LaBrie delivers keyboardist Kevin Moore's 'Hamlet'-inspired lyrics with just the right amount of madness.

Who will win in this battle of 1992 classic metal tracks? That's up to you. The winning band will advance to face a new opponent. So turn the volume all the way up to 11, listen to these classics once more and then vote for your favorite between Megadeth's 'Symphony of Destruction' and Dream Theater's 'Pull Me Under.'

(This Cage Match will run until Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 2PM ET. Fans can vote once per hour! So come back and vote often to make sure your favorite song wins!)
