Though it's not the new studio album, there are a few different Metallica releases that will be available later this week. On Friday the deluxe remastered editions of Kill 'Em All and Ride the Lightning hit the shelves. You can listen to a demo version of "Fight Fire With Fire" above, which was found on cassette in drummer Lars Ulrich's vault. In the video, the song is being transferred from cassette and remastered.

Metallica are also ambassadors for this year's Record Store Day, which is on Saturday (April 16). In honor of that day, the band is releasing Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité, Metallica! , which was recorded live at Le Bataclan in Paris, France on June 11, 2003. One of the songs from the show, "Frantic" from their 2003 album St. Anger, can be streamed in the player below. All profits from the release will be donated to the victims of the terrorist attacks which took place in Paris in 2015.

Ulrich has also posted a video, talking about his early record store memories. He says, "My dad used to drag me to a particular record store in Copenhagen, Denmark and when he ran up to the jazz section upstairs, I went downstairs to the basement where the rock was going on. There was all kinds of great stuff happening in there all the time."

He continues, "I never knew quite what was going to jump out at me, and most of the stuff that's made a radical difference in my life in terms of music and is the primary reason for the fact that I'm sitting here today in Metallica... the seeds of that were sown in that record store from the mid-'70s to the early '80s." Check it out in the player below.

Metallica will be going back to their roots on Record Store Day, playing live in the iconic Berkeley, Calif. record store Rasputin Music. Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité, Metallica! will be available there and in participating independent record stores across the country. Pre-orders and details for the Kill 'Em All and Ride the Lightning deluxe box sets are available here.
