People Retain Rock Band Logos More Than Any Genre, According to Study
There are plenty of creative ways bands differentiate themselves from others outside of the uniqueness of their music. For starters — what does your favorite band's logo look like? Would you be able to draw it by memory if you were asked to?
TickPick recently conducted an experiment with 100 people to see how well they are able to retain band logos by simply asking them to sketch the images from their memory. Once the study was over, the judges scored the illustrations by comparing them to the actual band logos.
Let's give a round of applause to rock and roll once again, as the results demonstrated that people remember rock band logos better than any other genre. The participants drew the most accurate logos of Nirvana, KISS, the Rolling Stones and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Other artists included in the activity were Marshmello, BTS, Wu-Tang Clan, Deadmau5 and the Jonas Brothers.
Of course, being a fan helped in the situation — participants also ranked their confidence when turning in their recreated band logos on a scale of one to 100. See examples of the results below, and click here for the full report.
