Puddle of Mudd’s Wes Scantlin Arrested for Trespassing + Vandalizing His Former Home
Puddle of Mudd's Wes Scantlin has been arrested yet again. This time, he was taken away in cuffs for trespassing and vandalizing a home that used to belong to him.
Scantlin has some serious issues when it comes to law enforcement. In 2015 alone, the Puddle of Mudd frontman was arrested at a Denver airport after riding a baggage carousel, for Driving While Intoxicated in Minnesota after leading cops on a high speed chase, for Driving Under the Influence in South Dakota and possession of a controlled substance in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Wes Scantlin lost his home last year after it went into foreclosure. However, this didn't stop the musician from returning to the Hollywood Hills house and allegedly destroying parts of it. According to TMZ, sources connected to the case report Scantlin appeared to use a hatchet to smash a window. He also allegedly trashed audio electronics, surveillance cameras and an alarm system while inside the home on Jan. 9.
TMZ caught footage of Scantlin being led out of the home in handcuffs, telling police, "Come on, this is my house, man." Two other individuals were also booked by police for trespassing. Scantlin was released after posting $20,000 bail. Check out the footage of Scantlin's arrest above.
