Ultimate Jam Night has become one of the premiere weekly rock events in Los Angeles with a core group of musicians led by Quiet Riot's Chuck Wright performing with a wide variety of special guests. This week's Ultimate Jam Night will be a special one, as rockers have lined up to take part in "A Tribute to Lemmy." The show is part of a week-long tribute on Hollywood's Sunset Strip saluting late Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister.

On Tuesday (Aug. 23), Wright and his Ultimate Jam Night cohorts will welcome a guest lineup led by Pantera and Kill Devil Hill bassist Rex Brown and Butcher Babies vocalist Carla Harvey. Dio and AC/DC drummer Simon Wright, Quiet Riot drummer Frankie Banali, legendary drummer Carmine Appice, Skid Row and Saigon Kick drummer Phil Varone, Cheap Trick drummer Daxx Nielsen, King's X frontman dUg Pinnick, Kill Devil Hill guitarist and drummer Mark Zavon and Johnny Kelley, We Are Harlot's Bruno Agra and Westfield Massacre's Ira Black and Stephen Brewer are among the performers expected for the night, along with some unexpected "drop in" guests as well.

The show is free to the public and will be taking place at the Whisky-a-Go-Go. And for those not in the Los Angeles area, the gig will be broadcast at Zinna.tv.

As stated, Ultimate Jam Night is taking part in the festivities surrounding the unveiling of the new Lemmy Kilmister statue at the Rainbow Bar & Grill on Sunset. Artist Travis Moore oversaw the creation of the statue that will be revealed Wednesday evening (Aug. 24) at the Rainbow. And Thursday (Aug. 25) at Art on Scene on Sunset, Moore will be hosting his own Lemmy-themed art show titled Lemmy: A Tribute to the Master.
