Christmas Pudding sounds delicious, doesn’t it? Well, not this kind! Shock rocker Alice Cooper is sponsoring his 11th annual Christmas charity concert -- dubbed 'Christmas Pudding' -- and has corralled Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford, former Korn guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch, ex-Motley Crue singer John Corabi, former Kiss member Bruce Kulick and Kip Winger to participate in the for-a-good-cause festivities.

The event takes place on Dec. 17 at Comerica Theater in Phoenix. All proceeds will be donated to Solid Rock, which is Cooper's charity of choice. Solid Rock is erecting 'The Rock,' a music-oriented teen center that will boast a coffee house plus a venue, so that teens can enjoy those amenities and other music-related activities. It is set to open in the spring of 2012.

The 'Christmas Pudding' show will include the winner of the 'Proof is in the Pudding Music Talent Search,' with the finals taking place at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Phoenix tomorrow (Dec. 5) and Tuesday (Dec. 6). Locally harvested talent is competing for the chance to perform on the 'Pudding' stage.

Local fans can get in on the fun, too. The "Roadie for a Day" package is being offered to those who donate.

Go to the 'Christmas Pudding' site to donate a minimum of $10 and you will be entered into a drawing to be one of two roadies for the day. You'll get to go backstage and see what's it like behind-the-scenes at a concert while getting your hands dirty. That will be the experience of a lifetime.
