Rockstar Mayhem Festival VIP Charity Ticket Auction Puts Fans Onstage

The 2012 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival will launch a VIP charity ticket auction that will put fans on the stage with their favorite bands! Wanna rock out inches away from Slipknot or Motorhead or Slayer? That's a headbanger's dream come true and it's possible courtesy of this auction. Proceeds from the auction will benefit both Metal of Honor and Living the Dream Foundation.

Starting Thursday, May 17 at 8:30 PM PT and running for a total of 10 days, fans can head over to eBay to bid on the chance to nab a pair of VIP passes to the tour. Tickets for the 27 dates are being auctioned. Additionally, the winning bidder and their guest will be rewarded with seating accommodations that are better than the best seats in the house! How is that possible? Well, those tickets allow access on the stage, with the winner's favorite band on the tour. That's about as VIP as it gets.

The winning bidder will also receive Level 1 premium reserved seats or pit tickets.

On top of that, the winner will be taken on a guided backstage tour to witness the inner workings of the festival, which often presents the opportunity for a "run in" with a band member! The package also includes access to the VIP lounge; a one-of-a-kind Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival custom artwork drumhead autographed by all members one of the bands on the tour; and front-of-the-line access to all band signings.

As for the charities, Metal of Honor raises funds and awareness for military non-profits. Living the Dream helps turn dreams into realities for children with life-threatening addictions.
