Royal Blood Announce Two Headlining 2017 North American Tours
Are you ready for some blood?! No? How about Royal Blood? There we go, that's more like it! The English rock duo are hopping across the pond for a series of small headlining runs throughout North America as they prepare to release their sophomore record, How Did We Get So Dark?
The first set of dates will focus on the eastern half of the country, kicking off in Boston on June 2 and extending as far out as Manchester, Tenn. on June 11, which also marks the final date of the initial trek. Royal Blood will hit the road once more starting July 31 in Buffalo, N.Y. before working the opposite side of the country, finishing off the jaunt with four California shows, the last being in Los Angeles on Aug. 16.
Royal Blood's career got off to a hot start with their self-titled debut in 2014. The album made an impressive ascent to No. 17 on the Billboard 200 charts. armed with powerful singles in "Figure it Out," "Little Monster" and "Out of the Black," combining elements of garage rock, stoner rock and a touch of psychedelia for an unmistakable sound.
How Did We Get So Dark? will be released on June 16 through Warner Bros. and fans can already get a taste of what's to come with the music video for the new song "Lights Out." Pre-orders for the record can be placed at the band's website.
