We're just over a month away from the release of Living the Dream, the newest album from Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators and their first since 2014's World on Fire. The second single, "Mind Your Manners," is out now and can be heard above.

It's a punchy cut rife with Slash's signature energetic riffing style and slick melodies from Kennedy. The chorus is explosive with lush multi-layered vocals to give it a massive, soaring feel and Slash keeps "Mind Your Manners" redlined with a driving, bluesy solo.

“I wrote this song on the spot to help the band get up and running once we got back in the studio this past January. It’s just a go-for-it type of song. Pretty straightforward rock and fun to play," Slash comments.

Kennedy added, “'Mind Your Manners' was something I didn’t hear until the guys had started jamming together. It’s a cool, up-tempo sort of thing and I knew immediately it would have its own place on this record." Discussing the song's themes, the singer explained, “Lyrically, it’s about how when things are going well there always tends to be someone who tries to rain on your parade and knock you down. You have to keep people like that in check and not let them get to you.”

You can catch the band on the road starting this September as they embark on a U.S. tour which runs through mid-October. See the list of upcoming dates here and to listen to the first Living the Dream single, "Driving Rain," head to this location.
