Dig the guitars, stay for the high octane brutality! Soilwork are back on the scene and ready to pummel you with a blistering new track called "Enemies in Fidelity." The band has teamed with Loudwire to bring you the exclusive premiere of the song, which can be heard in the player above.

As stated, the track opens with some pretty nifty guitar work before kicking into gear and firing on all cylinders as Bjorn "Speed" Strid lives up to his nickname, powering through the track with swift and hard-hitting vocals.

Strid states, “'Enemies in Fidelity' is indeed a very melodic and atmospheric beast. This was one of the first songs that I wrote for the new album and it holds a lot of surprises. The chorus almost sounds as if Simon and Garfunkel started a black metal band. That's the way we like it -- playful, dark, intense and melancholic. It definitely stands out, but also gives you an overall idea of what Soilwork currently is about."

He adds, "The lyrics deal with whether you should escape or succumb to the suffering that you might experience in your life, in order to find new strength. The ambivalence. The guilt and the respect towards your own existence. Being awakened and finding satisfaction through frustration and anger, to a point where it almost becomes addictive. Enjoy!

If you like the song, you can look for "Enemies in Fidelity" on the band's upcoming album The Ride Majestic, which is due Aug. 28 via Nuclear Blast. The album is available to pre-order in a variety of bundle options and formats at this location.

Soilwork are also getting the itch to play.
