Chuck Billy is one of the more recognizable figures in metal as the frontman for Testament, but Billy is ready to earn some recognition in another aspect of the music industry, serving as a manager as part of the new Breaking Bands LLC Management Company.

Billy took a few moments to speak with 'Loudwire Nights' host Full Metal Jackie at the Revolver Golden Gods black carpet recently about his new venture. The vocalist states, "So far it's been challenging, a lot of work, a lot of calls and we're having fun with it."

The frontman has partnered with rock publicist Maria Ferrero and former Megaforce Records chief Jonny Zazula on the venture, with each person bringing their own expertise to the company. As far as Billy's role, he says, "I'm coming up on 30 years playing in Testament and I've seen a lot, been through a lot and been through a lot of labels, so I've kind of seen it happen, so my part would be to mentor some of these younger bands that have that challenge of the business. Cause this business is a rough business and it's not all about the music."

Check out more of the interview in which Billy discusses Guns N' Roses, Joan Jett as well as his Breaking Bands acts Exodus, Shattered Sun and Forrest Day in the video above.
