The Word Alive should have a big summer ahead as their new album 'Real' is due in stores on June 10. The group is teaming up with Loudwire to exclusively bring you their latest album update, with drummer Luke Holland offering a peek inside the proceedings.

Holland, the new guy in the band, says it's been enjoyable to get in the studio with his bandmates. He explains in the clip, "Writing with guys who know what they're doing and have a pretty fresh take on things has been kind of a blessing honestly. It's been really really fun and it's pushed my limits as well and I've pushed theirs, so it's just been a mutual growth."

The drummer, who has been with the band for just a year-and-a-half, stated that he's been playing the band's old drum parts on tour, adding his own flare to them, but has been anxious to show exactly what he can do. The video offers a glimpse behind the curtain as his drum skills are on display in the clip.

You can catch Luke and the rest of The Word Alive on the Vans Warped Tour this summer. The trek launches June 13 in Houston and you can see the full itinerary of dates here. The group also recently released a new lyric video for 'Broken Circuit' that can be seen here.
