Three Days Grace and Shinedown have enjoyed a nice little competition on the Mainstream Rock Chart, similar to a title fight with neither side backing down. Three Days Grace currently holds the record for most No. 1 songs on the chart, with Shinedown right on their tail, but for the week dated April 20, Three Days Grace extended their lead with their 15th chart-topper.

"Right Left Wrong" was the song that did the trick for the veteran rockers, marking their third consecutive chart-topper according to Billboard. That gives them a bit of breathing room, with Shinedown and Van Halen currently sitting at 13 No. 1's total.

However, any sense of relief the band might have could be wiped out soon as Shinedown just moved into the Top 10 with their latest single "Monsters." For Shinedown, this marks their 25th Top 10 song on the Mainstream Rock Chart, which moves the band into a third place tie with Foo Fighters for overall Top 10s. Tom Petty holds the record with 28 Top 10s, while Van Halen sit two back at 26, followed by Foo Fighters and now Shinedown at 25.

Three Days Grace will continue to support their Outsider album this summer. Find them on tour at these stops. Shinedown, meanwhile, continue to garner, ahem, attention for their ATTENTION! ATTENTION! album, with more shows starting May 3 in Memphis. See their dates here.
