After a raucous reception to their inaugural North American show at Maryland Deathfest, the British psychedelic / doom band Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats will be returning for their first proper tour in the U.S. and Canada.

The 'Acid Across America' trek with Danava launches Sept. 24 in Philadephia and wraps up Oct. 12 in Los Angeles.

Vocalist / guitarist Uncle Acid says, "Deadbeats of North America! We're very pleased to announce our first tour of the U.S. and Canada. It's been a long time coming but we're looking forward to finally destroying your minds!"

Their third full-length 'Mind Control' was released last year. After being underground darlings, the album raised their profile. They toured in Europe, New Zealand and Australia as a result.

Before coming to North America, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats have a few European festival dates coming up in August.
