Swedish metallers Amaranthe are set to unleash their new album, 'Massive Addictive,' in October, and they're exclusively premiering their new song 'Drop Dead Cynical' right here at Loudwire (listen above).

The track has an incredibly infectious beat to it, while female vocalist Elize Ryd, male vocalist Jake E. and the band's screamer Henrik Englund Wilhelmsson complement each other well with their mix of clean and rough vocals. Meanwhile, guitarist/keyboardist Olof Morck, bassist Johan Andreassen and drummer Morten Lowe Sorensen keep the track lively throughout.

Guitarist Olof Mörck tells Loudwire, "The first piece of music to be released from 'Massive Addictive' is a very representative track. 'Drop Dead Cynical' is as massive as it is addictive. This ultra groovy song is a markedly different first single compared to classical Amaranthe single choices, and it takes our trademark sound in fresh and exciting new directions! Top that off with an anthemic chorus, and the result is what I consider one of the absolutely strongest Amaranthe songs ever!"

Look for Amaranthe's 'Massive Addictive' album to drop Oct. 21 through Spinefarm Records and catch the band on tour this fall. Dates can be found here.
