If it's not broke, why fix it? Avenged Sevenfold have enjoyed a long and fruitful partnership with the Call of Duty: Black Ops video game series, and they're back to lend a hand again, this time creating an instrumental score for Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

The band has previously used the Call of Duty video game platform for their single "Carry On" and appeared at an in-game concert in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Speaking about their new collaboration, the band issued the following statement:

We are proud to announce our involvement in Black Ops 3. Treyarch asked us if we would like to create a score to accompany a portion of the multiplayer soundtrack and we gladly accepted. On November 6th you can pick up a copy of the game and check out our instrumental score entitled “Jade Helm” while you play Multiplayer or in your personal bunk inside the Safe House of the Campaign.

If you're wondering about that name for the instrumental, Jade Helm 15 was a series of United States military exercises conducted recently where armed forces staged drills on private property, military bases and public facilities. According to the New York Times, some feared that this was actually a secret attempt by the Obama administration to impose martial law, among other things.

The song has not been made available as of yet, but you'll be able to hear it when Call of Duty: Black Ops III arrives for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on Nov. 6.
