Ohio-based metalcore outfit Beartooth have announced the details surrounding their sophomore studio effort. Aggressive will be released on June 3 through Red Bull Records and boasts 12 songs written, performed and produced by mainman and former Attack Attack! keyboardist Caleb Shomo.

The frontman once again teamed up with producer John Feldmann (Blink 182, the Used, Papa Roach and more) to aid in some of the songwriting. Beartooth play a style that largely incorporates elements of punk, metalcore, early screamo and more as the jagged rhythms work against the swinging drums in the title track, which can be heard below.

The start and stop rhythms dominate the chorus as Shlomo employs his clean singing voice, reaching into his upper register on the catchy chorus, emphasized by aggressive gang shouts. "Aggressive" seesaws between ardent pop punk sensibilities with the heavier metalcore bite giving the track more edge than what is typically found in pop punk.

In support of Aggressive, Beartooth will be kicking off a North American headlining tour dotted by festival appearances at Welcome to Rockville, Northern Invasion and Rock'N Derby. The trek kicks off tomorrow (April 23) in Iowa City, Iowa and will come to a close on May 21 at Rock'N Derby in Albany, N.Y. A full list of dates can be seen below.

Pre-orders for Aggressive can be made at the Beartooth website.
