Over the summer, The Dillinger Escape Plan's Ben Weinman joined Suicidal Tendencies on tour. It appears though that now he's more than just a live guitarist as he uploaded two video clips, confirming he's tracking with the crossover icons in the studio.

In the first Instagram video, Weinman is seen recording guitar parts with a skull mask over his head. It doesn't look like there's much room to see out of the mask, but considering his high level technical abilities, maybe Weinman doesn't even need to see his guitar at all to nail his parts.

In the second video, he's not wearing the mask and the brief clip is offered up as a teaser of more of what's available through Weinman's Patreon profile.

With Weinman on board as presumably a full time member, Suicidal Tendencies have become a bit of an all-star band. Slayer legend Dave Lombardo joined the group in 2016, making his first appearance on the World Gone Mad record which came out in the same year. Since then, the group has released the Get Your Fight On! EP and Still Cyco Punk After All These Years, both in 2018.

Catch Suicidal Tendencies at select festival appearances, including The Bash, Camp Anarchy and more.

Since The Dillinger Escape Plan's 2017 breakup, Weinman has also played onstage with The Prodigy prior to the death of frontman Keith Flint.
