Don't count them out just yet! Nobody wants to see Black Sabbath come to an end after these metal gods have been immortalized over the last 45 years. It appears the band don't want to see it end either as they have just announced an additional North American leg to their last tour stretching just over a month from Aug. 17 to Sept. 21, 2016!

Anyone who bought tickets for the first North American leg of the tour understands the madness surrounding these events. If you were unable to secure your ticket to say farewell to Black Sabbath, here's a second chance. The days don't stop passing by, which makes it more important than ever for metalheads to go see their heroes before the touring is over. The electric voice of Ozzy Osbourne, the rumbling of Geezer Butler's bass, and the sonic leveling of Tony Iommi's live guitar tone are all an experience that will never be replicated.

The band announced in September that this will absolutely be their last tour. After being diagnosed with lymphoma in early 2012, guitarist Tony Iommi has been a true Iron Man, touring on and off and flying back home for treatment regularly. In an interview with the Birmingham Mail, Iommi commented on the tour announcement, stating, "I can't actually do this anymore. My body won't take it much more. I don't want [the cancer] creeping back again, and all the traveling involved in Sabbath tours increasingly takes its toll. That's why we're going out on one last tour, to say our farewells. And then it very definitely is the end. We won't be doing it again."

These are hard words for any fan to swallow, but we salute Iommi for carrying on to bring us the music we love so dearly one last time. Check out the additional dates below and for a full listing of the world tour, click here.
