Breaking Benjamin vs. Shinedown – Cage Match

Happy 2017! After ending 2016 with an Alter Bridge Cage Match Hall of Fame run for their single "Show Me a Leader," it's time to start anew with the Loudwire Cage Match, introducing two new entries.

Breaking Benjamin continue to thrive with music from their Dark Before Dawn album, with "Never Again" being the latest song to climb the charts. The synth-heavy driving rocker has an uplifting message and seems to be connecting with fans, but is it in line to be the next Cage Match champ?

In order to move forward, they'll have to best Shinedown's current hit, "How Did You Love." The track from the band's Threat to Survival album is a slow builder, ramping up the energy by the time the chorus kicks in. In terms of lyrical content, it's a bit of a darker tone.
