Having come very close to winning this category last year, Slipknot / Stone Sour singer Corey Taylor has been voted Rock Titan of 2013 in the 3rd Annual Loudwire Music Awards.

Taylor was bested by Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi last year, and the Sabbath shredder was certainly a favorite to win once again. Corey Taylor also faced Lamb of God's Randy Blythe, Motorhead's Lemmy Kilmister and Pantera legend Philip Anselmo this year, but won by a comfortable margin once the polls closed.

In 2013, the singer unleashed a new Stone Sour album and played some live shows with Slipknot. He also released the paranormal memoir 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven' and a comic book series based on Stone Sour's 'House of Gold and Bones' albums. Congratulations to Corey Taylor for a well-deserved Rock Titan of 2013 win!
