Last week Courtney Love took to Twitter to accuse Dave Grohl of a bevy of atrocious acts, including trying to seduce her daughter Frances Bean Cobain. Frances Bean, currently estranged from her mother, felt compelled to release a statement of her own on the subject.

The statement, short and sweet, started out with a confirmation that Dave Grohl has never approached her, mentioned that she’s currently in a very happy relationship, and ended with some of the best advice doled out in awhile, advising Twitter to ban her mother. You can read her full statement here.

While that may have been the perfect way to put a permanent end to the Twitter-war, Love just couldn’t leave it at that and recently responded to Frances Bean’s statement on her public Twitter account with a heartfelt apology, saying, “Bean, sorry I believed the gossip.. Mommy loves you."

Frances Bean has yet to respond to Love in any way, at least publicly.

Love recently made her return to the stage with Hole when the band reunited to play a song together on April 13 in Brooklyn, N.Y. at the after party for the new documentary ‘Hit So Hard,’ a documentary about Hole drummer Patty Schemel.
