Courtney Love Talks First Sexual Encounters With Kurt Cobain

How romantic! Hole frontwoman Courtney Love has revealed that the second time she hooked up with Kurt Cobain, she had flown into town "to f--- Billy Corgan" and ended up in bed with the Nirvana frontman instead of the Smashing Pumpkins singer.

The quotes are from the forthcoming book, 'I Want My MTV: The Uncensored Story of the Music Video Revolution,' in which Courtney also talks about her first sexual encounter with Kurt. "The first time Kurt and I slept together was at a Days Inn in Chicago," she says in the book. "We were having our first postcoital moment, and we’re watching MTV and the video came on.

"I pulled away from him, because it was his video, his moment, he was the king of the f---ing world, and he put his arm around me and pulled me closer. Which was symbolic, like, 'I’m letting you into my life.' That really endeared him to me."

Then she gets to the story about how their daughter Frances Bean was conceived:

"The next time I saw the video with him was at the Omni Northstar Hotel in Minneapolis," she recalls. "I’d flown there to f--- Billy Corgan, who still had lots of hair. I didn’t even know Nirvana were playing that night. Kurt and I wound up at the Northstar, and our daughter, Frances, was basically made that night. 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' was on MTV every five f---ing minutes.

So, Cobain got to hook up with, marry and have a kid with Courtney Love. And Corgan got to lose all his hair. Seems about an even trade.
