In addition to being Escape the Fate‘s lead singer, Craig Mabbitt is a diehard viewer of ‘The Walking Dead.’ For Season 4 of the hit AMC show, Mabbitt has signed on to write an exclusive recap of each episode for Loudwire. Check out his rundown of Episode 12 below:

This episode is definitely a filler but one that needed to happen. Remember how Michonne kinda went blank and fell into her old ways because she had lost everything again? She slayed all those walkers and gained her mojo back and went on a search and found Rick and Carl and is now on her way to safety. Well, this episode was that but for Daryl.

Daryl has been kinda cold towards Beth and we start off the episode seeing them search a car for supplies. They hear trouble and decide to take cover in the trunk. This scene is pretty intense but they make it through the night. They collect some hubcaps which they use as walker warnings and some side view mirrors, which Beth uses to start a fire back at some piece of s--t camp in the woods. Daryl kills a "mud snake" which we then see him chow down on like it's nobody's business and at this point Beth has had enough. She wants a drink, for the first time, a drink, and this becomes the mission for the rest of the show.

They come to an old golf course and enter the (I don't know what you'd call it ... the lounge?) of the course and they are on a search for booze. Beth finds a wine bottle which is short lived as she breaks it over a zombie's head.

They make it to the bar after Daryl decides to unload on some walkers who gained entry. (Pay attention to Beth's new yellow golf shirt from Daryl's driver hit to the walker's skull ... so many blood stains that magically disappear, haha!) Beth finds peach schnapps as Daryl just stands there silently (well vocally silent) throwing darts at pictures on the wall. Beth starts to cry and Daryl has had enough of seeing her upset. He grabs the bottle and slams it on the ground and says, "Ain't no way your first drink gonna be some damn peach schnapps, c'mon!" F--- yea Daryl, f--- yea!

So Daryl leads her to a place that he had stumbled upon with Michonne that has a shed full of moonshine, and they drink.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but they don't get a chance to eat much, this is Beth's first time drinking ever! And it's homemade moonshine ... she takes a sip as if it's bad tasting medicine!!???? THE worst reaction to a first drink, let alone moonshine, I've ever seen in my life, and after that big ass first shot, they play a game of "never have I ever." B--ch should be passed the f--- out!!! Haha!

Anyway, during the game and prior, Daryl opens up about how he knows places like this all to well and it's kinda how he grew up. Beth says, "I've never been to jail," and Daryl kinda loses it thinking that's what she thinks of him. From this point it's just all emotions running high and Daryl drags her outside to shoot his crossbow, which she revealed she had "never done" and eventually they talk it out.

Daryl almost cries as he opens up about how guilty he feels for not doing more and they hug it out. And then they decide to burn the piece of s--t trailer house down and give it the finger amongst its flames. Well now that morale seems high for them ... let's go find the others, shall we!!??? Can't wait for next week!
