In addition to being Escape the Fate's lead singer, Craig Mabbitt is a diehard viewer of 'The Walking Dead.' For Season 4 of the hit AMC show, Mabbitt has signed on to write an exclusive recap of each episode for Loudwire. Check out his rundown of Episode 5 below:

Wow! Now that's what I call a good episode! I'm pretty much ecstatic for the rest of the season at this point! So, we start off and as we know last week focused a little more on Daryl's group, and Rick's run, where he sent Carol packing. This week, we spend most of our time in the sick area of the prison with Herschel and Glenn. Now, this does not mean the episode wasn't exciting because it very much was. As we can clearly see Glenn is getting sicker by the minute, to the point where I seriously thought he was gonna die this episode, but Herschel really stepped it up more than usual. I loved how they went in-depth with his character and his moralities that he upholds, all the way to his breaking point.

So after Herschel has a convo with the other doc, all hell breaks loose, it seems the end for the entire cell block but Herschel saves the day. The scariest part was when Maggie was faced with saving her dad and risking Glenn's life if she shot the breather that was down the walker's throat, but all the main characters seem pretty on point lately with the way they handle s--t. While s--t goes down on the inside of the prison, Rick is faced with the fence that has been breaking down this whole season. With Maggie helping out inside, Rick asks Carl to help him fortify the fence. The attempt fails and the fence gives way, Zombies flow in like the salmon of Capistrano and Rick and Carl get locked and loaded and start spraying the f--- out of these bastards. They eventually get rid of them all and Rick realizes that Carl ain't such a kid anymore.

Now everything seems like it's been dealt with and Daryl's group returns with the medicine. Glenn seems as if he will make it but now they are faced with telling Tyreese AND Daryl about Carol ... I'm interested to see who freaks out the most, as the camera pans to the outskirts of the prison, the frame slowly moves into the woods, and before anything was even revealed on the screen I knew what was coming.....the f---ing Governor........yea, s--t's about to get real!!
