Death Angel have just released a ripping new song! “The Moth” is Death Angel’s first single from the band’s upcoming eighth studio album, The Evil Divide.

The group isn’t slowing down one bit. “The Moth” is a solid new cut from the Bay Area thrash veterans, showcasing top tier musicianship at a blistering pace. Fans of Death Angel and Bay Area thrash will surely go nuts for this one.

The Evil Divide is yet another collaboration between Death Angel and producer Jason Suecof, who has helmed Death Angel’s last two albums: 2010’s Relentless Retribution and 2013’s This Dream Calls for Blood.

“We just finished recording at Audio Hammer in Sanford, Florida with Jason Suecof again,” vocalist Mark Osegueda recently told SFWeekly.com. “It's the third time we've used him, and we couldn't really be happier. This time, all the music was written and lyrics were written with the exception of one song which I purposely saved to write on the spot. Sometimes you can get a great vibe from a studio and draw inspiration from that … It's got the aggressiveness of the last two records, but our songwriting has improved dramatically. Really, it sounds like Death Angel should."
