Deep Purple's humble beginnings as a blues rock band who released their debut in 1968 has taken them around the world on the back of over 100 million albums sold worldwide. Now, here they are in 2017 with still more to say as they ready the release of InFinite, their 20th studio effort.

Arriving on April 7 through earMUSIC, the record will contain 10 new tracks that follow-up 2013's well-received Now What?!. Among these songs is the opener, "Time for Bedlam," which thrusts the band's classic rock sound through a modern filter, with the shimmering keyboard hallmarks and textured lead guitar work reminiscent of their unstoppable '70s heyday.

Check out the full track listing, which was revealed through the Amazon pre-order page, below as well as the aforementioned song. InFinite was tracked in February of last year at a studio in Nashville, Tenn. with esteemed producer Bob Ezrin at the helm.

The album cover, featuring a ship carving a patch through icy waters, finds an unbroken line forming the band's initials. Its somewhat close to the infinity loop, playing off the album's title, but also drew comparisons to the Devin Townsend Project insignia, though Townsend himself brushed it off, adding, "Plus its Steve Morse and he can do whatever he wants," name-checking Purple's guitar player.

Deep Purple recently announced a North American leg of their "Long Goodbye" tour, though they've been reluctant to confirm whether or not this will be their farewell trek as the name suggests. They'll be joined by master shock rocker Alice Cooper and the Edgar Winter Group as well and a list of stops can be found here.
