DragonForce Guitarist Herman Li Discusses New Singer Marc Hudson, ‘The Power Within’ + More

The second night of this year’s New England Metal & Hardcore Festival featured the British power metalers of DragonForce, and we had the opportunity to sit down with guitarist Herman Li.

Li chatted with us all about their new album ‘The Power Within,’ which is the first album to feature the band's new singer Marc Hudson. He also talked about the versatility that Hudson brings to the band and the amount of time the rest of DragonForce spent with the young, new lead singer before having him officially join the band.

Li told us, “Marc’s voice because it’s so large in terms of range from low to high, we’re able to try different things out and have more dynamics on the album with.
