Falling in Reverse Rock Los Angeles’ Roxy to Celebrate ‘Fashionably Late’ Release
It was a big day for Falling in Reverse, as they celebrated the release of their new album, 'Fashionably Late,' with a special afternoon performance Tuesday (June 18) at the Roxy in West Hollywood, Calif. The band recently canceled their appearances on the Vans Warped Tour as singer Ronnie Radke and his fiancee celebrate the birth of their first child, so this show provided the only opportunity to see the band perform their new songs live for a while.
The hour-long set, which was streamed online for fans, featured favorites such as ‘Sink or Swim’ and ‘Good Girls Bad Guys' mixed in alongside such new songs as 'I'm Not a Vampire.' ‘Champion’ and ‘Bad Girls Club.'
For their encore, the band offered up their recent single ‘Alone,’ before singer Ronnie Radke took a moment to get serious. The frontman thanked his record company for sticking with him amidst his legal woes. He also apologized for an incident where he threw a mic stand into the crowd last year, apparently injuring a pair of audience members in the process. Radke and the band then finished out the set with a touching moment, bringing a special guest from the audience. The young girl introduced as Shelby sang ‘The Drug in Me Is You’ with the band.
Falling in Reverse will next be seen during the Monster Energy’s Aftershock festival in Sacramento, Calif., in September. In the meantime, check our photo gallery below of Falling in Reverse live at the Roxy, and pick up 'Fashionably Late' at iTunes.
