Today marks the 30th anniversary of a very tragic day in the world of rock. It was 30 years ago (March 19) that Ozzy Osbourne / Quiet Riot guitarist Randy Rhoads lost his life in a plane crash.

Rhoads was a true innovator of the six-string. Between monster hooks and blistering solos, the guitarist possessed not only immense talent, but a unique spark, which drew listeners in like very few can. Rhoads' mastery of the guitar shined in every note he played, whether it was his ability to switch styles seamlessly or to weld them together into distorted works of art.

Although the death of Randy Rhoads still weighs on heavy hearts, we can still celebrate his influence and achievements as one of the most timeless guitarists in history, as evidenced by our list of the Top 10 Randy Rhoads Videos That Rock.
