High on Fire frontman Matt Pike has exited rehab. Pike had entered a treatment facility earlier this summer, forcing the band to scrap plans to tour on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Fest, easily the highest profile metal outing of the summer. The band had to bow out of the tour for a good reason, though, to allow Pike to address and seek help for alcohol issues. To celebrate Pike's emergence from rehab, the band has dropped the brand new video for 'Fertile Green' from their latest album 'De Vermis Mysteriis.'

In a statement, Pike commented on how he feels, post-rehab, saying, "As I acclimate back to society, I realize the beast within is even sharper and stronger!" Welcome back, Matt!

The rest of the power trio took the summer off to support Pike while he recovered. At the time, the group issued a statement, saying, "High on Fire would like to thank everyone involved with the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival for the opportunity to be a part of this year’s tour. We regretfully will have to bow out as our friend and bandmate begins his recovery, but very much appreciate having been asked to be a part of this summer’s festival run."

Now, the band will return to doing what it does best and that's perform live by heading to Australia for a string of tour dates next month.

Meanwhile, the video for 'Fertile Green' is both psychedelic and mystical in nature. It will certainly transport you to another place with its trippy visuals, featuring creatures and the story of the Christ Twin. We can't do it justice. Just watch it for yourself.
