A day after High on Fire performed at this past weekend's Psycho Las Vegas, frontman Matt Pike (also guitarist of Sleep) married musician and tattoo artist Alyssa Maucere in a small ceremony at the Silver Wedding Chapel at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on Saturday (Aug. 17).

Danger Ehren Photography was on hand to capture the nuptials, which occurred following High on Fire's Friday (Aug. 16) show wherein the sludge metal outfit reportedly filmed a new music video. Scroll through the wedding photos down toward the bottom of this post.

Last year, ahead of the release of High on Fire's Grammy-winning Electric Messiah, Pike discussed his current relationship with Consequence of Sound, as pointed out by Blabbermouth. The rocker indicated the conclusion of a past relationship had led to more sad songs on the band's previous album, 2015's Luminiferous.

"I'm with a partner now that is a tattoo artist and musician," he said at the time. "We lead a similar lifestyle and she really understands multi-tasking. I moved up to Portland now and I have a house with a DIY studio. I think that's why there are less of my sissy songs on Electric Messiah. Before Luminiferous, I was with my best friend for seven years but we realized our lifestyles just weren't really compatible. Ending that [relationship] effected the writing on Luminiferous. I don't have any of the 'cry in my beer' songs on this one."

Congratulations to newlyweds Pike and Maucere. This fall, High on Fire hit the road in North America with support from Power Trip, Creeping Death and Devil Master. See those dates below, and get ticketing info here.
