Incubus are on their way back with their eighth studio album, aptly titled 8, and they recently released a second new song from the disc titled "Glitterbomb." Now there's a visual to go along with the audio as a lyric video for "Glitterbomb" has surfaced.

Like most lyric videos, the words spill out across the screen as Brandon Boyd sings them, but unlike most other lyric videos, we also get a visual of the band performing in the studio as well. Using an old school television screen view, we get a close up look at the performance, opening on Boyd's face while Mike Einziger plays guitar in the background. Eventually, the footage shifts around the studio to include shots of all the band's members. Watch it in the player above.

While the lead single "Nimble Bastard" has a heavier edge to it, leaning closer to Incubus' early works, "Glitterbomb" moves along at a steadier, more melodic pace, pulling the listener in with the beat rather than the drive. It's a solid addition to Incubus' catalog and a perfect change of pace after the introduction of "Nimble Bastard."

Incubus' 8 album was co-produced by Dave Sardy and Sonny Moore (aka Skrillex) and is on schedule to arrive on April 21 via Island Records. Pre-orders for the disc are currently available through Amazon and iTunes.

Incubus will hit the road this summer with Jimmy Eat World on a massive North American tour stretching from July 7 through Aug. 19. For a list of all stops, check our 2017 Guide to Rock + Metal Tours.
