There's "not a chance in hell" that Slayer will reunite after their final concert last week, guitarist Kerry King's wife, Ayesha King, insisted in a series of comments made to her recent Instagram posts.

Responding to fans' disbelief that the band's Nov. 30 show in Los Angeles was indeed Slayer's concluding chapter as a group, the spouse who goes by the handle @slaywhore on the social networking service upheld the gig's conclusiveness in no uncertain terms on Sunday (Dec. 1).

Ayesha's remarks — which you can view down toward the bottom of this page — were sprinkled throughout the comments sections under three separate images of Kerry performing at Slayer's closing gig of The Final Campaign.

Affirming that "Kerry King is not Mick Mars or Slash," the observation appended by a shrug emoji, Ayesha countered commenters' theories that Slayer would return in around 10 years. Such a move would be similar to recent reunions mounted by Motley Crue and Guns N' Roses after both of those bands were thought to be well and truly finished.

"LAST. FINAL. THE END," Ayesha answered one naysayer. "[N]ever never never never never never," she replied to another who persisted Slayer would come back. Elsewhere, Ayesha responded in the affirmative to a fan who asked, "Is this really the end?" Rebutting more cynicism regarding the finality of Slayer's decision, she said, "you can bet on it" that last week's performance was the band's final show ever.

Not that one could fault the commenters for their rampant disbelief. After all, Slayer manager Rick Sales hinted last month that the group's concluding tour "doesn't mean the end of the band."
