Kentucky hardcore unit Knocked Loose generated considerable buzz with their debut album, Laugh Tracks, in 2016. After releasing the new song "Mistakes Like Fractures," the group has announced the details to their second full length, A Different Shade of Blue, and shared a music video for "...And Still I Wander South."

Over two-and-a-half crushing minutes Knocked Loose run through chugging, palm-muted sections cut with dissonance and clean-tone atmospherics, eventually devolving completely into a thundering breakdown.

Vocalist Bryan Garris said the song "is about wanting to move on, or better yourself for whatever reason, but you keep going back to the same old thing," adding, "Whether that be depression or whatever you may be going through. You always wander back to the same mindset."

A Different Shade of Blue will be released on Aug. 23 on TKTKTK via Pure Noise Records. Pre-order the album here and view the album art and track listing beneath the music video directly below.
