Duff McKagan’s latest book, How to Be a Man (And Other Illusions), comes out on May 12 and the rocker has just scheduled another event in honor of its release. On May 17, the musician will appear at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle for 'Duff McKagan: How To Be A Man – In Conversation with Krist Novoselic.' The event is being billed as a night of conversation with both men, where they will talk about life, music, politics and more. The two musicians will then open up the forum for a Q&A from audience members, followed by a book signing with McKagan.

The Seattle date is not the first U.S. celebration of Duff's book release. The event with Novoselic comes at the end of a string of East Coast book signings that McKagan had already announced. McKagan will start on May 11 in Ridgewood, N.J. and will head to New York City, Huntington, N.Y. and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., before ending in Mashantucket, Conn on May 17.

McKagan recently spoke about his upcoming book, saying he hopes people find it informative and funny. “It’s a how-to guide of things I’ve learned about life — being a dad, being a husband and being in a rock band," McKagan said. “And it’s, like, a city guide in it, but a very tongue-in-cheek guide, like how I see cities. It’s got all kinds of stuff and other stories and hopefully it’s gonna be a funny book.”

You can pre-order How to Be a Man (And Other Illusions) here and check out more about his East Coast book signing dates over on Facebook. Tickets for his Seattle event with Krist Novoselic can be purchased for $11.50 with the option to add-on $24.29 which will include a copy of the book. For more info on the Seattle event, click here.
