Lamb of God vs. Avenged Sevenfold

We're one step closer to crowning the Best Metal Song of the 21st Century as both Lamb of God's "Laid to Rest" and Avenged Sevenfold's "Nightmare" have advanced to Round 2 in March Metal Madness.

The battle between Lamb of God and Rammstein came down to the wire as the Virginia natives took out the German industrialists by less than 1 percent! So, "Laid to Rest" triumphs over "Feuer Frei!" and it won't get any easier going up against Avenged Sevenfold.

Two melodic acts went at it in Round 1 with Avenged Sevenfold's "Nightmare" swiftly defeating Children of Bodom's "Everytime I Die", capturing over two thirds of the votes. If they can repeat these results, they'll prove to be one of the biggest acts to take down.
