Arizona death metal outfit Landmine Marathon have just released a video for 'Beaten and Left Blind,' a track from their 2011 album 'Gallows.' Landmine Marathon have been creating some serious waves in the underground lately with their punishing brand of extreme metal and by harboring arguably the most ferocious female vocalist on the planet, Grace Perry.

Female vocalists in metal have become a beloved craze recently, having been somewhat instilled by Revolver's 'Hottest Chicks' and Century Media's 'Maidens of Metal' calendars. Although Perry took part in Revolver's 'Hottest Chicks in Metal of All Time' feature, she chose the road less traveled and remained fully clothed from head to toe for the issue - allowing her talent to tow the line for Landmine Marathon.

Grace Perry is easy on the eyes, yes, and although her physicality can lure you in, her powerfully evil gutturals will cause those who check out Landmine Marathon for the wrong reasons to run in terror. 'Beaten and Left Blind' commands the essence of Perry's vocal prowess while showcasing the talents of each band member. Far from being 'Grace and the Landmines,' the entire band commands respect and admiration for their individual abilities.

The video for 'Beaten and Left Blind' is a powerful and graphic accompaniment for the track. It depicts a seemingly innocent young girl being harassed by two gothic metal chicks in a graveyard. We won't give away the ending, but the title of the track should give you some sort of clue.
