Megadeth are looking at a probable return with a new album in 2019, but it looks as though the guys are already at work on the upcoming disc. Dave Mustaine offered a video tease from the studio, featuring Dirk Verbeuren working on a drum part for an upcoming song.

Fans get a look at Verbeuren's kit set up from behind with Mustaine joking about his "secret weapon" toward the end of the video. Check out the clip below.

The band's 16th studio album will be the follow-up to the Grammy-winning Dystopia. Verbeuren will also be making his first full album appearance for the group after taking over for Chris Adler behind the kit midway into promotion for Dystopia.

Megadeth are looking forward to big things in 2018, also signing on to join Ozzy Osbourne for dates on his North American "No More Tours 2" trek. All of the band's current stops can be found here.
