Queensryche has experienced somewhat of a rebirth as of late. Well … technically two rebirths, but we're talking about the Todd La Torre-fronted incarnation of the iconic heavy metal band. Geoff Tate's Queensryche? Not so much.

Queensryche was a drained band for many years before Geoff Tate's fallout, but with Tate gone and La Torre in, Queensryche's fuse was once again able to be lit. The critically-acclaimed explosion came in the form of a self-titled full-length album, and though the album is short, the quality of 'Queensryche' is obvious. La Torre soars through 'Fallout' with a siren-like voice which is true to the band's classic style, while a refreshed instrumental section provides a solid foundation for their new singer.
