Swedish hardcore act Refused recently got back together, commemorating the reunion by playing sets at Coachella last weekend (April 14) and again this weekend (April 20).

The next gig on their schedule was suppose to be a date with late night TV, playing on ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,’ on Monday April 23. The show would mark the band’s first-ever TV appearance and a chance for anyone who couldn’t make it to Coachella to see them play live for the first time since the late ‘90s. However, according to a statement recently released by the band, the ‘Jimmy Fallon’ appearance has been rescheduled.

The band took to their Facebook page to let fans know, saying, “Due to circumstances beyond our control we will not be performing on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show this Monday. They have rescheduled us for July when we're back in the U.S.” No hint yet as to what caused the bump, but now fans will have to wait a few more months to see Refused make their TV debut.

The good news is, it looks like Refused is around to stay for awhile. The band has two more U.S. dates scheduled on April 22 and 23 at Terminal 5 in New York, N.Y. before they head overseas for a run of shows. They’ll return to North America in July for several more tour dates including a few stops in Canada.

Stay tuned for the rescheduled ‘Jimmy Fallon’ date and check out all their North American tour dates below.
