We've got a brand new track from Boston-based technical death thrashers Revocation. The band's much-anticipated fourth studio album, which is self-titled, is set to drop on Aug. 6, but we've got the exclusive premiere of 'Fracked' for your headbanging pleasure.

Revocation have instilled themselves as underground metal darlings through three full-length albums, one EP and a hell of a lot of touring. The band's upcoming self-titled album follows the 2011 release of the excellent 'Chaos of Forms' along with the 'Teratogenesis' EP, which was released for free through Scion A/V last year. 'Revocation' will also act as the band's first full-length album featuring new member Brett Bamberger (awesome name) on bass and backing vocals.

"Today we are stoked to premiere another new tune for you guys!" frontman Dave Davidson exclaims. "'Fracked' is a mid paced bruiser that's got a little something for everyone. There's some killer bass tapping, an extended solo section and pissed off vocals. Check it out and spread the word!"

Revocation are currently on the 2013 Summer Slaughter tour. For a full list of tour dates, click here. The band's self-titled release is now available for pre-order in exclusive bundle packages at the Relapse Records online store. The album will be available as a deluxe CD, standard CD, double LP and also in digital formats, with the deluxe CD and LP containing an exclusive cover of the Metallica classic 'Dyer’s Eve.' You can also pre-order the album on on iTunes. Also, be sure to visit Revocation's Facebook page.
