Rob Zombie is ready to stage his Halloween horror event Great American Nightmare once again, and it will take place at the Odeum Expo Center in Villa Park, Ill. The attraction will happen over 20 nights from Sept. 25 through Nov. 1 and Zombie will be performing at the haunted house experience on Oct. 2 and 4.

"I am thrilled to be bringing the Great American Nightmare back to the Chicago area for its second year,” commented Zombie in a press release. “After last year's overwhelming response we've decided to return with a completely new nightmare. It's more vile and disgusting than ever. Have fun."

The “completely new nightmare” Zombie is referring to, is based on his upcoming film 31. Fans can expect the new haunted attraction to have a carnival theme with plenty of evil clowns. As we’ve previously reported, the horror flick is about five carnival workers who are kidnapped and held hostage in a place called "Murder World." They’re then forced to take part in a game called ‘31’ where they try to survive 12 hours on the compound.

31 will join Captain Spaulding’s Clown School in 3D and The Devil’s Rejects attractions, both of which debuted at the 2014 Great American Nightmare in Arizona. In Clown School, participants will take a hallucinogenic trip through the eyes and mind of character Captain Spaulding, who appeared in the musician's films House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects. In The Devil’s Rejects attraction, guests will become state troopers on the hunt to capture members of a backwoods family suspected of killing over 75 people.

Tickets for Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare go on sale this Friday (7/31) at 9AM CT. Tickets for most dates start at just $25, while admittance for Oct. 2 and 4 when Zombie performs start at $45. VIP packages are also being offered and they include some merchandise and quicker entrance to the event. Some packages even offer special seating for Zombie's performances. Learn more here.

Zombie's upcoming film 31 is slated for release sometime next year and will star Malcolm McDowell and Elizabeth Daily. The singer is currently on tour in Europe. He plays in the Netherlands tomorrow (7/29).
