Today (May 16) is the second anniversary of the passing of the legendary Ronnie James Dio. He had one of the best singing voices in metal, or any other genre. He fronted bands including Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio and Heaven and Hell. After battling stomach cancer, Dio died in 2010 at the age of 67. His passing left a huge void in the music industry, as he was one of the most talented and beloved figures in metal. Two years after Dio's death, many of his contemporaries in the music world such as Tim "Ripper Owens, David Draiman (Disturbed), Brian Fair (Shadows Fall), Alex Skolnick (Testament), Johnny Solinger (Skid Row) and many others paid tribute to Ronnie via Twitter.
