Shadows Fall have been on hiatus for a while, but announced that they will be returning to the stage to play the Big Kahuna Festival in Providence, R.I. on Aug. 22, and they have also booked shows for Aug. 21 in Clifton Park, N.Y. and Aug. 23 in Lowell, Mass.

The announcement of the band getting back together of course sparked speculation on whether Shadows Fall would be recording new music in addition to playing the live shows. This picture posted on Facebook of some of the band members in the studio resulted in many drawing the conclusion that they were indeed working on new songs.
