Thanks to Live Nation's "Ticket to Rock" program, we recently got a preview of the dates that Shinedown and Godsmack were putting together for their summer co-headline tour. But now the entire routing for the summer run has been revealed, along with information on their support acts for the run.

The tour kicks off July 22 in Clarkston, Mich., with dates booked into early September, wrapping Sept. 2 in Wantagh, N.Y. In addition to the two headliners, fans will be treated to a solid three band package, with Like a Storm being chosen to open the first half of the tour and Red Sun Rising serving as the opener on the latter half.

“We really believe this could be a great moment in our band’s career and we plan on running on the road until at least fall of 2019," says Godsmack's Sully Erna. "We love the guys in Shinedown and we all go way back. There is a very strong mutual respect between our camps and we feel that this tour is going to be a must see!" He adds, "We’re preparing ourselves to be on the top of our game!"

"It’s all about impact, and making a statement,” says Shinedown frontman Brent Smith. "We are creating a show for the fans that is powerful, passionate, and sonically inspiring. The audience has given us a platform to be ourselves, and create something spectacular. That being said Shinedown and Godsmack will most certainly NOT let them down. This will be the Rock & Roll event of the year. In other words 'IT’S ABOUT TO GET HEAVY!!!'"

Along with the tour announcement and the full itinerary, both Shinedown and Godsmack have revealed release details for each of their new albums. Shinedown's Attention Attention will arrive on May 4 via Atlantic Records and Godsmack's When Legends Rise is set for an April 27 street date via BMG. With the tour launching in July, fans of both bands should have had a chance to sit with the new songs a bit before the run and become familiar with the new tracks included in the sets.

“It was just about evolving as a songwriter,” says Erna about their new disc. “I wanted to stretch my wings out even further to use all the experiences I’ve had with writing different types of music over the years and applying that to find a way to introduce a newer, fresher, more mature sound, but still maintaining the power of Godsmack." The When Legends Rise album is available to pre-order here, with "Bulletproof" already available as an instant grat track.

Likewise, Shinedown's new album, Attention Attention, is also now available for pre-order, with the lead single "Devil" coming as an instant grat track. Pre-orders can be submitted here.
