Sweet & Lynch have gone Hollywood, and we're happy to partner with the rock vets to bring you the exclusive premiere of their new video for "Walk" right here at Loudwire.

The song itself is a solid rocker showcasing the band's many talents, with a few style changes along the way. Michael Sweet's powerful pipes really rock the song during the early stages of the track, but he's able to showcase a more soulful side later during a breakdown that also let's guitarist George Lynch shine in a transition from blistering licks to something a little more delicate and bluesy and eventually venturing into Queen territory. Fellow rock vets James Lomenzo and Brian Tichy hold down the base of the song and keep it raucous, while their cohorts step up to lead select moments within the cut. While the styles may vary within the track, it works well and gives listeners a broader view of what Sweet & Lynch can do.

"'Walk' is a song that stretched the boundaries of the band and it's also a song that may surprise some people in a great way. It takes the listener back to the days when it wasn't about keeping a song under four minutes but more so about creating a masterpiece. I think 'Walk' is a masterpiece," exclaims Michael Sweet.

Guitarist George Lynch adds, "The music came about as I was tinkering with some newly acquired vintage gear that was similar to what Brian May from Queen used .. the sound was so Queen like that it inspired me to write this epic 'Queen-esque' instrumental piece. The original arrangement was a rock opera magnum opus at almost 10 minutes long so we eventually edited it down to its current six minutes."

As for the "Walk" video, it's a fun look at life in La La Land. The video opens with Sweet receiving a music pedal, that when pressed transports him into Hollywood proper with the rest of the Sweet & Lynch band. Whether it be cruising the aisles at Amoeba Records, hanging with the street performers in front of Hollywood & Highland, making themselves at home at the Hard Rock Cafe or rocking out in front of the Carney's famous train car-turned-hot dog and burger stand on the Sunset Strip, Sweet & Lynch seem to be enjoying themselves getting out and about in L.A.

"Walk" appears on the new Sweet & Lynch album Unified, which is due Nov. 10 via Frontiers Music SRL. You can currently pre-order the effort here. Stay up to date on all things Sweet & Lynch at their website, as well as their Facebook page.
